With over 18 years of experience as a federal white collar prosecutor and Department of Justice leader, and over 20 years of leadership experience as a Marine Corps Officer, John has a sophisticated and deep understanding of government agencies and investigations and extensive experience leading through crises.

Alex Hontos

Alex is accomplished in Federal procurement law and government contracting, including the Federal Acquisition Regulations and the Contract Disputes Act; Federal civil-fraud provisions, including the False Claims Act and Anti-Kickback Act; and the specialized rules that govern claims against the United States, including bid protests.

Kirk Schuler

Kirk is a partner with the Trial Group in Des Moines, and practices across the country with Dorsey’s Government Enforcement & Corporation Investigations group. He was an Assistant United States Attorney in the Districts of the Northern Mariana Islands and the Central District of Illinois before joining Dorsey. As a former federal prosecutor, Kirk brings significant trial experience and advocacy skills to benefit Dorsey’s clients in all types of civil and criminal litigation and government investigations.

Chris is an associate in Dorsey’s Government Solutions and Investigations Practice Group. In his practice, Chris represents clients in government contract disputes, government enforcement actions, qui tam actions under the False Claims Act, corporate investigations, fraud and securities litigation, and other commercial disputes.

Eric is a trial associate in Dorsey’s office in Minneapolis. He represents clients in complex and high-stakes commercial litigation and government contracting matters.
